My designs are inspired by landscapes as they are found in nature. Pollinator gardens are a strong focus with a site appropriate balance of native and non native plants. Plants are selected to fit their existing surroundings with consideration for owner preferences and budgets. Whatever stylistic direction you desire, my goal is to produce gardens that are beautiful, functional, and easy to care for.
As a proponent of working with nature rather than against it, I avoid the use of chemicals and opt for organic methods whenever possible.
Even low maintenance gardens need occasional care. In addition to design and installation I offer regular maintenance as well as one-on-one garden coaching.
Formerly based in Portland, Oregon, I recently moved to Kent, Ohio with my husband, a native Kentite. I am eager to create and work with gardens in this ecoregion, The Eerie Drift Plain, to which some of my favorite plants are native. You need a garden, I need to garden. Get in touch and let’s start planning.
